Thank you for choosing Big Bite Fishing Shirts (BBFS). We are committed to providing high-quality fishing apparel and a transparent, fair returns process. Please review the policy below carefully before making a purchase.
1. Warranty
1.1 Product Warranty
All products purchased directly from Big Bite Fishing Shirts are covered by a 30-day warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
If a defect is confirmed within this period, BBFS will, at its sole discretion, offer one of the following remedies:

1.2 Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents

Normal wear and tear

Unauthorised alterations or repairs

Products not purchased directly from BBFS

Third-party products or services used in conjunction with BBFS items
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only issued where products are faulty or not as described, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Refunds are not available for:

Change of mind

Incorrect sizing

Personal preference (colour, style, fit)
Where a refund is approved:

A 20% restocking fee applies

Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item
3. Return Policy
3.1 Returns for Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or damaged product, you must contact BBFS within 7 days of delivery at:

Return Conditions:

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

Items must be returned unused, in original packaging, with all tags, accessories, and documentation

All returned items are inspected upon receipt
Following assessment, BBFS may offer:

Store credit

Refund (where applicable)
A 20% restocking fee applies to eligible returns, however, in good faith, BBFS may waive this fee for confirmed defective items or when a store credit is chosen.
4. Exchange Policy
Exchanges may be offered at the sole discretion of Big Bite Fishing Shirts and are subject to the following conditions:

All exchanges incur a 20% restocking fee, without exception

Exchange requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the item

Items must be unused and returned in original condition with all tags, packaging, and accessories intact

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

Exchanges are processed only after the original item has been received and inspected
Exchanges are not guaranteed and are subject to stock availability. BBFS reserves the right to decline any exchange request that does not meet these conditions or where the product shows signs of wear, damage, or use.
If an exchange cannot be fulfilled, BBFS may, at its discretion, offer a store credit or alternative resolution.
5. Restocking Fee Policy
A 20% restocking fee applies to all eligible returns, refunds, and exchanges.

The restocking fee helps cover genuine operational costs, including:

Handling and inspection

Repackaging, quality control, and inventory updates
When the Restocking Fee Applies

All exchanges
When the Restocking Fee May Be Waived

In some cases, when a store credit is chosen instead of a refund
All waivers are granted at BBFS’s sole discretion.
6. Sale & Discontinued Items
Sale items and discontinued products are generally not eligible for return, refund, or exchange. Any resolution offered is at the discretion of BBFS.
